suzhou industrial parks?

Postby benfr » Fri Nov 28, 2008 12:12 am

I am a little bit confused about Suzhou's industrial/development districs. How many such zones or districts are there in Suzhou and is the Singapore industrial park one of them?? Thanks in advance!

Principally there are two major industrial parks in Suzhou, SIP and SND. the SIP, the Singapore industrial park was established in 1990 by the capital funding from Singapore government. Later in 1992 Suzhou mulicipal government created its second development zone, SND, the Suzhou New District park. Other small-sized industrial areas are available as well but seem not as important as SND and SIP.

more than two...including taicang, kunshan, zhangjiagang, and changshu... each of these cities has more than one industrial zone or park...
